Insulation Rebate

The Australian federal government has introduced an Energy Efficient Homes Package to help save homeowners money on their annual electric bills-and to help create more jobs for the construction industry during this uncertain economy. Under this program, owner-occupied homes that have little or no insulation in the ceilings can qualify for a rebate of up to $1,600 $1,200 if they have the proper insulation installed and/or if they have a solar hot water system installed. Landlords can qualify for a similar rebate of up to $1,000 if they have insulation installed on a rental property.

LPG Conversions Rebate

Many people today are considering converting their vehicle over to liquefied petroleum gas, or LPG. There are more than 500,000 vehicles that have lpg conversions, or were made using LPG adaptations from the manufacturer. This includes taxis, government and commercial vehicles, and regular consumers. The reason for this is that LPG can cost as much as 50% less than petrol, which makes the costs that can be involved acceptable.
